BRONCOS AND ICE COMPLETE TRADE

Swift Current,SK – Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb has announced that the club has acquired forward, Adam Rossignol from the Kootenay Ice in exchange for defenceman, Tanner Muth.

In 39 games played with the Ice this season, Rossignol has recorded 13 points (6G, 7A). The 6’, 180 pound Surrey, BC product was taken 147th overall by the Kootenay Ice in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.

“Adam is a skilled centre that will fit in great with the age group we are looking to build on,” states Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel, Jamie Porter. “He plays well on the penalty kill and has also spent some time on the power play. With our current injuries, acquiring a player like him will be a great asset to our organization.”

Muth has tallied one goal and three assists in 38 games played with the Broncos. The 6’1”, 197 pound Calgary, AB native was acquired 36th overall by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.

Rossignol is expected to join the Broncos either tonight or tomorrow.
