Tanner Dunkle of the Olds Grizzlys will open 2012 as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week. During the week of January 2nd - 8th, Dunkle scored 4 goals and 3 assists in three games for the Grizzlys.
Dunkle opened the scoring in two of the three games, and was also named the Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game twice. The Grizzlys were victorious in all three games, including a shootout win on January 7th, scored by Dunkle.
Dunkle is in his second AJHL season with the Grizzlys and leads the team in scoring with 36 points. Dunkle is an 18 year-old forward from Red Deer, Alberta.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to partner with Canalta Hotels to recognize the AJHL Player of the Week for the 2011-2012 AJHL Season.
