Terriers’ Wold MJHL Player of Week

Portage Terriers’ forward Brent Wold has been named the MJHL Player of the Week, ending January 15.

The 18-year-old native of Lac du Bonnet put on an impressive offensive showing, reflected in nine points (5-4) in three games. Thanks to the strong play of Wold and his teammates, Terriers are 8-1-0-1 over their last 10 games. Portage sits first in the Addison Division.

Wold, 18, also sits atop the Terriers’ point race with 20 goals and 52 points in 43 games played.

The runners up are 20 year old forward Chapen Leblond of the Winkler Flyers and 19 year old goaltender Adam Harris of the Selkirk Steelers.
