Chris Collins of the Okotoks Oilers is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player
of the Week for the second time in February 2013. Collins scored 5
goals and 11 points in 4 games as the Oilers recorded four consecutive
victories over the week of February 18th – 24th. Collins scored his
second hat trick of the season and continued his 15 game point streak
that now totals 34 points. He also received the Pro Hockey Life Player
of the Game award on February 20th versus the Calgary Mustangs.
Chris Collins is averaging 1.2 points per game and leads the Oilers in
scoring with 68 points. He is 5th in the AJHL Scoring Race. Collins is
a 20 year-old forward from Calgary, AB and is in his final AJHL season.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League is proud to partner with Canalta
Hotels to continue recognition of the AJHL Player of the Week for the
2012-2013 AJHL Season.
