CCHL TIER 1 CORPORATE HYPE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 25

 The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is pleased to announce that the Corporate Hype Player of the Week is Darren Smith of the Pembroke Lumber Kings. The Lumber Kings goaltender led them to a 2-0 week with wins over the Carleton Place Canadians and Hawkesbury Hawks. Smith posted a 2.0 Goals Against Average, an outstanding .961 Save Percentage and was selected second game star for both contests. The past Rookie of the Month for January continues to perform well, he is (20-8-0-3), currently sits tied for 8th in Goals Against Average (2.77) and 5th for Save Percentage (.915) in overall league goaltending statistics.

The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) features one team in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 this week. The Ottawa Jr. Senators are ranked #19 in the country.
