The RBC Player of the Month is Jesse Sinatynski of the Dauphin Kings.
Sinatynski, who hails from Fort Saskatchewan, was a key figure in the
Kings’ run to first in the Sher-Wood Division. Sinatynski, 20, led all
scorers in January with 21 points (10-11) in 10 games for the Kings.
The runners up are 20 year old forward Jeremy Olinyk of the Winnipeg
Blues and 20 year old forward Jory Mullin of the Winkler Flyers.
Sherwood Hockey Defenseman of the Month
Steinbach Pistons’ Kyle Rous was outstanding over the month of January, reflected in 12 points (5-7) in 12 games.
The runners up are 18 year old Tanner Jago of the Winkler Flyers and 18 year old Jordan Greig of the Virden Oil Capitals.
MGEU Goaltender of the Month
Winnipeg Blues’ goaltender Isaiah Plett was practically unbeatable in
January, reflected in six victories in seven starts. The 19-year-old
had an outstanding GAA of 2.00 and save percentage of .928.
The runners up are 20 year old Jeremy Pominville of the Dauphin Kings and 20 year old Reed Peters of the Winkler Flyers.
IBAM Rookie of the Month
Tristan Keck of the Winkler Flyers is having an outstanding freshman
season. The 17-year-old from Morris led all rookies in scoring with 15
points (9-6).
The runners up are 18 year old defenseman Jordan Greig of the Virden
Oil Capitals and 18 year old forward Mitchell Eisenberg of the Swan
Valley Stampeders.
