Press Release
The Niagara IceDogs are pleased to announce a new five year contract for current Head Coach & General Manager Marty Williamson. The new contract will start at the beginning of the 2013-2014 season.
Since his arrival in 2010, Williamson has amassed a 119-64-13 record in the regular season – the best in the Eastern Conference during that time – while also coaching the IceDogs to the Eastern Conference Final in 2011 and the Ontario Hockey League Championship in 2012.
In addition, Williamson’s 21 playoff wins are the most by any OHL team during that period.
Marty lives in St. Catharines with his wife Deborah and son Sam.
The entire Niagara IceDogs organization would like to congratulate Marty on his new contract and look forward to five more seasons of exciting IceDogs hockey.
