Press Release
Head
Coach and General Manager Brett Larson announced today that the Sioux
City Musketeers acquired goalie Connor Girard, and a 6th round pick in the 2013 USHL Entry Draft, in a trade with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
In exchange for Girard, the Musketeers gave up a 2nd round pick in the 2013 USHL Entry Draft that was acquired in the Stenglein trade earlier this season.
The
19-year-old Minnesota native has played a total of 32 games in his USHL
career. Girard has 19 wins to his credit. He is not currently committed
to play at the collegiate level at this time.
