Omaha's VanBrocklin signs NAHL tender

The Omaha AAA Hockey Club , proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL),  are pleased to announce that 16U defenseman Camden VanBrocklin has signed and NAHL Tender Agreement with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL.

VanBrocklin is a native of Madrid, Iowa and is in his 1st season with the Omaha AAA Organization. The 16-year-old defenseman , who also last season was a draft pick in the OHL Entry Draft by the Plymouth Whalers (225th overall) is having a great season this year for the Omaha 16U Club . To date he has amassed , 7 goals and 25 assists for 32 points to go along with 42 PIM in 61 games overall . 

In NAPHL action, VanBrocklin has 4 goals and 14 assists for 18 points in 22 games overall. Van Brocklin is the 4th player from the Omaha 16U team to sign a NAHL Tender this season, joining Lawton Courtnall (Texas Tornado), Patrick Grasso (Austin Bruins) and Rhodes Dolan (Austin Bruins).

The Omaha 16U AAA hockey club finished the 2012-13 NAPHL regular season with a 21-1-0 record, which was the best regular season record recorded in the four-year history of the NAPHL.  They will be the #1 seed heading into the 16U playoffs beginning on February 15th in Troy, Michigan.
