Cedar Rapids RoughRiders forward Dylan Gareau has committed to play college hockey at Clarkson University following his USHL career.
Gareau has produced 10 points (5g, 5a) in 34 games for the RoughRiders
this season, including the game-winning goal in the 4-1 victory over Des
Moines on December 28th which was his first USHL career
game-winner. The 19-year-old from Richmond, Ontario is playing his
second USHL season after recording 12 points (7g, 5a) in 31 games for
Cedar Rapids last year. He also added one goal in two playoff contests.
Dubuque Fighting Saints forward Alex Fossen is also
committed to play hockey at Clarkson
. The University is a member of the
ECAC and has four USHL alumni on the roster this season; Andrew
Himelson (Des Moines Buccaneers), Adam Pawlick (Sioux City Musketeers),
Matt Zarbo (Sioux Falls/Tri-City), and Joe Zarbo (Youngstown/Tri-City).
