WHO’S HOT
Tad Kozun, Nipawn (12-9-9-18) … finally held off scoresheet on Saturday after nine in a row with a point.
Wheaton King, Nipawin (12-2-12-14) … put up one the quietest high end seasons in recent memory.
Russell Trudeau, Melville (6-5-8-13) … nice spurt to make it within a point of scoring championship.
Ian McNulty, Melville (6-5-6-11) … almost as good as Trudeau to hang on to scoring championship.
Matt Saunderson, Melfort (4-0-6-6) … blossoming at just the right time of the year to lead Melfort blueline.
Calder Neufeld, Estevan (5-1-6-7) … it’s been a long road to recovery from injury layoff.
Devin Buffalo, Flin Flon (3-1, 1.68, .949) … no question he’ll be between the pipes for the start of playoffs.
Matt Hrynkiw, Humboldt (5-1, 1.48, .942, 1SO) … and to think Melville beat him for four on Friday night. To Hrynkiw, it must’ve felt like ten.
Tyrell King, Kindersley (5-1, 1.95, .941) … most pivotal player in the Survivor Series versus Estevan.
Jordan Liem, Nipawin (6-1, 2.00, .932 ,1SO) … have to wonder if we’ll see him come playoff time.
