Sportsnet Friday Night Hockey Schedule to March 8

TORONTO (February 8, 2013) Sportsnet, home of the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup, and Canada’s #1 destination for junior hockey, today announced the addition of the four regular season Canadian Hockey League matchups on Sportsnet’s popular Friday Night Hockey.

As Canada’s premiere destination for all things CHL, Sportsnet’s multiplatform coverage includes more than 45 CHL game broadcasts during the 2012-13 season, including playoffs and the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup, as well as ongoing in-depth coverage across Sportsnet’s digital and print platforms.

Sportsnet’s Friday Night Hockey broadcasts feature play-by-play announcer RJ Broadhead alongside analyst Sam Cosentino. Host Tony Ambrogio joins tonight’s broadcast team, with Rob Faulds taking on hosting duties for the remaining matchups. Each broadcast features a pre-game HOCKEY CENTRAL show with analysis, scores, interviews and features.

In addition, sportsnet.ca keeps fans connected to the CHL with analysis and features, including Friday Night Hockey previews and weekly columns by Sportsnet CHL insider Patrick King, Cosentino’s “Coz for Thought” blog, the CHL Mashup blog, Cosentino and King’s Top 10 CHL Prospects monthly list, and more.
