Sarnia, On – General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced this morning
that the hockey club has signed Patrick White to an OHL Standard Player
Agreement.
White a native of Orleans, Ontario was a 5th round
selection of the Sting in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection out of the
Ottawa Jr. 67’s program.
This season White is currently a member of the Gloucester Rangers Jr. A team playing in the CCHL.
White is the third leading scorer on the Rangers with 15 goals and 25 points.
Jacques Beaulieu commented on the signing of White.
“We
really feel that Patrick has a bright future in our league. He has
proven he can produce playing against older players in the CCHL and it
should be a good stepping stone for him looking to make the jump to the
OHL next season. We are happy with how our players from last year’s
draft are developing this year. That draft will be the foundation of
our future moving forward.”
