Walpole Showcase less than two weeks away

The fourth and final Atlantic Junior Hockey League (AJHL) Showcase of the season, which will be contested at Iorio Ice Arena in Walpole, Mass., is less than two weeks ago.

The event, during which all 12 AJHL teams will play three regular-season games, will will be held over Presidents' Day Weekend from Feb. 15-18.

The league held its first showcase of the season in Aston, Pa., in September and its second and third - both in Hudson, N.H. - in October and November.

After the Showcase in Walpole, only one week remains in the AJHL's regular season before the start of the postseason.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012-13, the AJHL, a USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior A league boasting 12 teams from seven states, prides itself on the social maturity and skill development of student-athletes ages 16-20 with aspirations of advancing to collegiate and/or professional hockey.
